YOUR CONTRIBUTION

  • You are the central contact person for patch management and, together with our sales team for the successful planning and implementation of IT solutions for our control center customers.
  • In doing so, you always keep high availability, redundancy, performance and IT security in focus.
  • You will plan, coordinate and manage the implementation of patch days in our customers' IT and application landscapes of our customers.
  • In an environment ranging from classic servers (Windows and RedHat Linux) to state-of-the-art network and cloud technologies, you will ensure that patch days are carried out in a controlled manner and comply with the regulatory framework.
  • Together with the change management team, you will ensure the coordinated planning and implementation of patches and releases.

YOUR SKILLSET

  • You have completed an IT apprenticeship, a degree in computer science or comparable qualifications and ideally some experience as a patch/release manager.
  • Strong communication skills, integration skills and social competence - also at management level - characterize you.
  • Your way of working is independent, structured and goal-oriented, with an eye for the big picture.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of IT infrastructures and ITIL certification is an advantage.
  • Reliability, resilience and a willingness to work outside normal working hours round off your profile.

Due to legal requirements, we are obliged to point out that the collective agreement minimum salary for this position starts at a gross annual salary at around € 42,224.00. We offer an overpayment (even significant ones) which is based on your individual qualifications and professional experience.
