YOUR CONTRIBUTION
- You will start with an introduction to the company, our products and an extensive training and induction period to learn about our solutions and then help shape them. We use the
latest methods and technologies - You will mainly be working for our Dutch customers and projects, in this case the control rooms in the Netherlands. This 24-hour environment depends on our solutions and must deliver the highest possible reliability and availability.
- You will work both independently and as part of a team with colleagues or partners on our IT solutions. Your focus will be on (co-)designing, building, improving and
continuously making our IT infrastructure, including the middleware layer, more secure. Naturally, you will do this in consultation with our internal departments and partners to ensure that our software systems run as robustly as possible. In the short term, major infrastructure replacement projects and new construction projects are planned, for which we can make good use of your knowledge and experience. - In the future, you may also be deployed on projects for other (international) customers.
YOUR SKILLSET
- A completed IT and/or technical education (HBO/University) and more than 2 years of demonstrable work experience in a similar position and environment.
- Knowledge and experience in enterprise networking, server hardware and
hybrid infrastructure design. This includes Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Linux management (Debian, Ubuntu, RedHat), VMWare. - Knowledge of Veeam Backup & Replication and disaster recovery planning
- Experience with cloud migrations, improving security, reliability and cost optimization of systems
- Experience with management processes and IT projects
- Able to communicate fluently in Dutch and English; knowledge of German is an advantage
- Excellent communicator; bridges the gap between infrastructure, cloud and DevOps domains
- You transform and modernize IT environments with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
- Strong analytical skills
